What's next in Women's Marches?

   http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/23/us/womens-march-next-steps/

This article gives us an update on what the women are going to do next in this movement across America for equal rights. The women are saying that this is "only the beginning". After the inauguration of President Trump, 1 million people went on the streets and protested for Women's rights. To keep the fight running, you can send a postcards to your senators, visit your representatives in person, volunteer for a group, plan an event, and recruit more women to take place in the fight. The women's goal is to make the moment into a movement and make change in this corrupted world.
In class, we have talked about the difference between civil rights and civil liberties. Women rights would fall under the category of civil rights because they are used to protect certain groups and minorities including women. We have also discussed civil disobedience which is peaceful acts without any violence . These women marches would be an example of this because the women are peacefully marching without any violence involved.
I believe in any advancements the women have to offer with these marches. If I could, I would march with them. I believe that women have the right to fight for what they clearly deserve. It is unacceptable for the women to still not have the same rights as men. This problem needs to be solved and fast.
